Widset new version from .98 to .99 is out. Best of all the service and application are both free. Just installed the new version it is a cool mobile application that lets you watch feeds directly on your mobile phone. My favorites are BBC, Foreca, a time clock and a real new killer pop email widget. I am going to try out the email widget lets see how it works.
Email Widget Review
Here is the review of the email widget along with screenshots (given below):
This is how the email widget looks like. In screenshot 1 as you can see I have put my company pop mail setting in it though it also support IMAP. You can also change the interval for checking mail as well with a vibration or tone alert. If the widget is running in the background you will get an alert informing you of your new mail. Very neat like a push mail system.
In screenshot 2 this is how the email main page looks like. On the default option page their is a delete, reply, mark all read and settings option. On the setting option you can change the tone alert or the volume of the tone alert. Once you click on any of the emails you get reply or delete options. If the mail size is big it will show you loading and retrieve the balance mail. Haven’t checked the attachment as yet.
I think the application is cool but for some reason I would rather use it for personal or casual email addresses then company ones. I am not saying it is no secure but I find it a bit disconcerting checking my all important mails on it.
