Sms Export for your Nokia symbian 3rd edition phones
Yes finally sms’s can be saved and stored. Sms Export is a great addition to the list of freewares.
All your Inbox sms’s are read and then can be exported to your phone memory or memory card as .txt format.
The .txt format can not only be read on your phone but can also open up easily on your computer that in turn can be imported into word or excel files.
A word of advise, this software is especially beneficial for those who message a lot since messaging area becomes
very slow if you have a lot of sms’s you can save those all important messages and empty your inbox. Make sure
go through the whole process check if you have saved them before you hit delete.
After downloading sms export from the software area on this blog open the
software you will immediately see the number of inbox
messages that you have as stored as shown in screenshot below.
Before you export messages make a new folder preferably in
your memory card by going into files.
I have called it My SMS as shown below.
Message exporting as shown below. Phone memory export was faster
then storing in memory card.
After all your sms’s get stored go into files look for the
folder you have exported your sms’s you will see they
end with a file extension .txt. You can mark all and
send (my phone kept hanging) or alternatively just
copy/paste the folder from your phone to you pc via
pc sync.
Enjoy and of course I have added it in the software area.

Thank you for this! You’ve already convinced me to dump my BlackBerry for an E61i, and now you’ve found a free alternative to the SMS exporter I was going to pay money for:

Hi, I have used it and it’s cool. After use it, I try to remove the application. After removed, it will be 2000ab6c.sis file on application manager with comment “Not Installed”. How can we also remove this file?
