If you have a googlemail address simply enter it as a gmail one. For example username@gmail.com.
Apparentley Google can't et anyone in the UK register a GMail address,it's just a coincidence that both work with your Username. Good luck

Yeah, I think you're right, Ali. The Gmail app for S60 is very good and can be recommended to all users.

To be honest with you gmail application is much better then emoze...emoze still has a lot of kinks. myname@gmail.com was being recognized but I had to input the address a couple of times. For me Mail For Exchange and gmail app does it.

Nor did I, Ali! However, when I tried to enter myname@googlemail.com, there was a specific message from emoze to say googlemail addresses were not supported. I then tried myname@gmail.com and this was not recognised as a valid address! I have since donwloaded Google's own software for viewing its e-mail, syncing with calendar events and viewing Google Maps on mobiles and this is great.

I've tried this application as I have a Gmail email. After I setup my account, it starts initial sync. It establishes the connection, then tries to log in, but the connection closes, then retry and retry, but no success. Other applications uses network connection normally. Do you have any idea?
