I have discovered another push email service called Consilient. Unlike mail for exchange it does not use the typical device messaging interface. Consilient has its own simple and unique software that you can download after registering at there website www.consilient.com . Registration is a bit tedious and any changes you make on your mail settings have to be done on the web end which frankly speaking is a pain. Detailed review to follow.

Read a very nice review of Seven Always on beta by Ed at e-series so I thought I will give it a go. At an initial glance the setup part was very easy but connectivity was not that reliable. Emails were not being pushed immediately, now that I am in the second day connectivity is absolutely fine the email viewer is slow to respond and generally the navigation within the Seven main software was cumbersome. I was pretty excited as I thought this will be a better, free alternative enabling me to send emails through my own sender id but unfortunately for now I will definitely stick to the free version Mail for exchange. But lets not forget its beta. While I was writing this email I just got my push email sound on my Nokia e61i as I was testing Seven I did not see the email icon but surprisingly when I was looking for it them email icon was in my mail for exchange. So this means we can finally have 2 push email softwares running parallel, now that’s a wow.

Finally, I could not resist and have added a “games” page on the blog. I guess all work and no play makes our devices slightly dull. I will start by doing adding a reviewing of “Dawn of the fly”. It’s a hilarious games with excellent graphics. I used to play this a lot on Nokia e61 so thought will start with this one.

At last Windows has launched their live messenger for symbian 3rd edition and hopefully it will not disappear as it used to before i.e without a trace. Since a few years I have become a very big fan of google and gmail so I am being forced to  review this for you guys. Sorry windows but google all the way. Please remember it is a 2 part installation 1st you have to download dep.sis file and then the windowslive.sis file before installation.

Was having problems in configuring feedburner, it has finally been resolved. Now you can subscribe s60devices through reader or email, next to calender and get info as soon as it gets posted. Enjoy!

Version Updated to 1.02:

• Clock Type Roman added besides Analogue and Digital
• Number of clocks 1 or 2 instead of home and away
• Background can be changed to preloaded image/blank color
• Text color can be changed as well

Worldmate by Mobimate has released a new version 5.0 with some really superb features.
Added it in the freeware section. Worldmate 5.0 has been tested on Nokia e61i, should be compatible with Nokia e90, Nokia e65, Nokia e50 and other Nokia e series devices.
